Frequently asked questions

How long do lip fillers last?

Hyaluronic acid lip fillers typically last 6–12 months depending on your metabolism and the amount used. We recommend a top-up appointment every 9–12 months to maintain results.

Does it hurt?

We use a topical numbing cream before treatment to minimise discomfort. Most clients describe the sensation as a slight pressure rather than pain. The procedure takes around 30 minutes.

Is a consultation included?

Yes — every lip filler treatment at Este Hair includes a free consultation where we discuss your desired result, assess your suitability, and create a personalised treatment plan.

What is Russian lip technique?

The Russian lips technique creates a flatter, more defined cupid's bow with lift and projection — less rounded than classic fillers. It's ideal for clients who want a dramatic but natural-looking enhancement.

Can the filler be dissolved?

Yes. Hyaluronic acid fillers can be dissolved with hyaluronidase if you are unhappy with the result. We recommend waiting 2 weeks after treatment before considering dissolving.
